The utter freedom of summer is getting to me, and I’ve been having weird nightmares the past few weeks. I can’t remember most anymore—but there’s just this one dream that’s also sort of a “recurring dream”, in the sense that certain elements of it have been popping up throughout several dreams on different nights. And I feel like writing this one down because I woke up quite some time ago and it’s still playing in my head.

It starts out with my uncle telling me that there’s an online gamer named “MedicineNotRequired” and that apparently he’s boss at a few games, and also boss at creating games. Epic video game developer. And he’s got this miraculous life story where he loses weight fast and .. improves his well being, or whatever. So he’s sort of like a human interest story at the moment. The name “MedicineNotRequired” continues to pop up through several of my dreams. He keeps being mentioned AND I DON’T KNOW WHY.

At one point, I dreamt that I was looking through Twitter followers (which magically turns into members of some forum) and I was looking for a certain person (that I know, but not going to mention who). My mom comes over and checks to see if /that/ guy is on the list of people I’m looking through. When he’s not, she’s like, “Oh yeah, did you know that MedicineNotRequired gamer guy is going to die tomorrow because he’s going to use this dangerous drug in order to lose some more weight but it’s going to kill him?”

…. And apparently, my cell phone number had to be switched to his. So I receive a ton of praise messages about how great my (his) video games are and I had to reply to all of them about how I’m not the dude they think they’re talking to, and how he’s going to die.

I never understood why he was going to go through with said drug-usage if he knew he was going to die anyway. I figured he was suicidal. And then the rest of it is all….. random crap that I can’t remember regarding him still.

Anyway, it’s a bit ironic his name is “MedicineNotRequired” but he’s using some form of … artificial… medicine-like substances in order to improve his well being. And also die from it. Whaaa?

So, the point is… I really don’t know why this nonexistent gamer keeps popping up in my dreams. What if he’s real? That freaks me out. If I ever see someone online named “MedicineNotRequired”, I’ll like… blast through the roof from sheer spazzing.

Got some new glasses today. Yes, they are the “hipster glasses”. I feel like they’re the only glasses that don’t make me look like a grandma. also, they’re the only thick-rimmed sort of glasses that my eyelashes don’t hit.

I was just thinking how it’s kind of ironic that hipster glasses have become mainstream. They’re practically an oxymoron….

and since when did they become “hipster” glasses? Weren’t these “nerd” glasses a few years ago?

ALSO, why is it whenever I see girls wear these hipster glasses, they’re dressed all slutty with the duck face and you can see down their shirt and stuff? Like, are you trying to be a hot nerd or something? wtf is that?

Nevertheless, I didn’t let all that crap ruin these glasses for me. They work, I can see stuff, and I promise I won’t make duck faces with them.

Today—er, I guess, since it’s 2:48 AM…—YESTERDAY, I realized that these things are the bomb. they taste awesome.

I was also eager-beaver to eat them since it looks like the tube thingy from Kiki’s Delivery Service that dispenses colored candy.

…. aaaaand I just tried to google search it but to no avail. oh well. EITHER WAY THAT GUMMY CHOCO STUFF IS LOVELY

TODAY I have come to a resolution! I’m going to use tumblr at least once a week. that’s right. and IN MY WEEKLY (or maybe… daily… or maybe… “every 3 days or something like that”) POSTS, I’ll just stuff random things that I have learned and/or experienced. yes.

That way I can just look through all my old crap and be like “oh yeah. I remember that.”

I just never have anything to post on these blog thingies, you know? I mean, what am I supposed to talk about?

Most people just talk about what’s going on their life. But I find that writing a detailed post about my day is kind of… well, like, nobody cares. Perhaps it would be for my own personal value, like a diary. But then, shouldn’t I just put it in my diary instead?
